Revitalise your yoga practice with James’ Revisiting Foundations workshop. Expect a series of six classes specifically designed for those who wish to delve deeper and discover the foundations of yoga, or for those are new to yoga and who want to start off on the right foot.

Over the six weeks, James will take you on a journey, helping you to explore and cultivate your yoga practise so that you finish the programme with the knowledge and skills to attend any Hatha, Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga class.Each class will be themed on one of the key elements of Hatha/Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Each class will begin with theory and broken down practical instruction on said theme, then evolve into an hour long class, where you can hone your newly learnt skills. This six week workshop is broken down as follows:

  • Week 1 (20.04.20) – Pranayama (breath control) & Introduction to Yoga
  • Week 2 (27.04.20) – Drishti (gaze)
  • Week 3 (04.05.20) – Bandhas (muscular contractions/locks)
  • Week 4 (11.05.20) – Sun Salutations (traditional yoga warm up)
  • Week 5 (18.05.20) – Asana & Alignment (exploring the physical postures)
  • Week 6 (25.05.20) – Final class, bringing it all together

    I suffer from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, rheumatoid arthritis, anxiety and poor memory would I be able to do this as I’m sure it would benefit me in the long run?
